Train to Teach
Ullswater Community College provides initial teacher training as part of the Western Lakes Teaching School Alliance’s School Direct programme.
The WLTSA works closely with the University of Cumbria to provide exceptional school-based PGCE courses in a range of subjects. By following this route into teaching you have the opportunity to train in a diverse range of ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’ schools, all of which are situated in beautiful North Cumbria. You will be trained by subject experts, guided by experienced coaches and mentors and supported by outstanding leaders.
