Key Stage 4

In this popular option students will study  Level 1  Motor Vehicle. which is a very good qualification recognised by the motor vehicle industry.

Students will study a range of topics including vehicle service and repair principles, engine systems, lubrication & cooling, tyre fitting, brakes and

Work is assessed through practical assessments, supported by small written assignments and on-line tests. It is an ideal course for those who love practical work and looking to pursue a career within engineering.

On completion, students can progress to Level 2 qualifications, either at UCC or at college or enter the world of work as an apprentice.

Extra curricular activities include lunch time and after school clubs, the Green
Power racing car project and banger racing.
